 These unique one-of-a-kind knives are designed to exacting detail, by artisan Boyd Porter, using natural elements from Alaska. Knife handle materials include: fossil mammoth tusk, bone and tooth, fossil Steller’s sea cow bone, bison horn, fossil Steppe bison bone, musk ox, Dall’s sheep horn, 400 million year old fossil corals from nearby Prince of Wales Island, fossil walrus jaw and tooth, and many other fossils from Alaska. Boyd personally torture tests these knives in all kinds of rigorous situations. They work really well, hold a sharp edge, and are made to fit nicely in your hand. All materials are either purchased or personally collected in Alaska; ensuring the finest of quality and most excellence in design.
